Our Elf on the Shelf started coming in 2011 when my two youngest boys were 4 and 3. As they have grown older we have added a few extra kids to the mix. This year Delilah will be 5 and Emmett will be 3 when our Elf on the Shelf, Mistletoe, arrives.
I remember the first year our Elf on the Shelf arrived with a Christmas Elf Brunch complete with printables and games. We had a few friends and our niece over for a celebration and from that day forward Misteltoe won over the hearts of my children. Each year when our Elf on the Shelf arrives they get so excited. Last year Delilah would pop right out of bed to find him and I think this year Emmett is old enough to have a lot more fun seeing all of the silly Elf antics!
