The only watches I have ever purchased or asked for as gifts were Fossil watches. The first watch I ever bought for myself was a Fossil (I was fourteen years old) and then I asked for a new one for Christmas almost every year after that. The thing I love almost more than the watch itself are the metal tins they come in. I saved most of the tins and kept jewelry in them growing up. Now that I’m an adult it seemed pretty juvenile so I started keeping craft supplies in them. Then it hit me to add a magnet to the inside of the lid and I could use it to catch pins and other metal pieces I had floating around. This is the perfect solution for any type of tin including lovely vintage ones! Enjoy,

Great idea, can't believe I never thought of it. Simple and practical and I save Twinings tea tins.

Wonderful Idea! Just in time for sewing. One of those things you do not think of till you need it. :)

Awesome idea, but I have a dumb question. Where can I get the magnets? I know where I could get magnet tape, but I don't think that would be strong enough.

Hi Betz! You should be able to find strong enough magnets at Hobby Lobby or Michael's (and don't forget to take a coupon!) ;)
