Happy New Year SVG Cut File - Glowforge, Silhouette and Cricut

We are less than a week from the New Year and I wanted to create a Happy New Year SVG cut file that you can use year after year. I did not include 2022 in this file because now you can make a shirt or piece of decor and use it year after year.

I hope 2021 treated you SO well. We (okay, more like “I”) were blessed in our ETSY shop this year. We exceeded sales and net income goals. My kids are healthy, back in school with friends and I have been able to share free cut files with you ALL YEAR round. I think 2021 was one of the best years of my life.

Let me write a disclaimer that I haven’t always been able to reflect so positivly in years past. There were years when we had a car repossessed, a year when we were on food stamps, a year when my husband was laid off his job two weeks before Christmas while I was pregnant with our second child. Everyone has ups and downs.

The key is not to let the ups or downs define you. After years of comparing myself to others, feeling bad about my situation but not working to change it and overcoming childhood trauma I can confidently say I have found balance. If you haven’t found your balance I hope you do in 2022.

What can I make with this cut file?

This file was intended to be used for a layered cardstock banner, but you can use the file in any way you choose.
I have put together a list of adhesive and iron-on blanks and 35 ways to use adhesive vinyl to give you more ideas.

Can I sell items I make using these cut files?

Yes, the cut file is for personal and small business commercial use. You may NOT sell the digital files themselves but you may sell items you create using the cut file designs. Please tag us with your creations on IG (@poofycheeksblog) and we may share on our own feed!

**You may not use this design for print on demand sites such as Amazon, Café Press, Zazzle, Printify etc.

Do I have to enter my name and email each time I want to download a new cut file?

Yes. The form tracks cut file popularity and how many times cut files are downloaded.

What files are included in the download?

Each download includes one zip folder with a DXF, PNG and SVG of the cut file design.

DXF files can be opened in Silhouette Studio and cut with a Silhouette Cameo.
SVG files can be opened in Cricut Design Space and cut with a Cricut machine or a CNC machine.
PNG files can be used with either software using the trace feature if you are having issues with the DXF or SVG files.
