Last Saturday I left the boys with my parents and spent the day with my mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and niece. We were on a mission to get to Renninger’s Antique Extravaganzas in Mt. Dora, Florida. Making my way to the extravaganza is on my life list – crossed that one off! On the way to my in-laws house I had to pull over and take a picture of this magnificent sunrise. I don’t know that I have seen one more beautiful (though I also don’t see many sunrises as I like to sleep in later than the sun!!) We made it to the extravaganza around 8:30am and shopped out little butts off until after 4. We couldn’t have asked for better weather. I was comfortable in jeans and a tank, and even got a bit of a sunburn on this never.been.so.pale body of mine. My sister-in-law and I loaded up on buttons! I have some great ideas on how I am going to use them! I also purchased a few Atlas jars for my husband’s collection, a wooden soda crate, a two-man saw, and some other items which I am in LOVE with. I can’t wait to go again! Our day didn’t stop here though – on our way home we stopped by an orange grove. It was my first time going to a grove and we got to pick our own oranges and fill up our buckets. Now I have so many oranges I don’t know what to do with myself! It was a great day! I had so much fun and when I got home I was totally exhausted! I woke up the next morning sore as could be from all of the walking we did!! From sunrise to sunset I soaked in every ounce of that day.
