my_crafty_space  Craft Studio 1  Hey guys! I’m Vanessa from The Crafty Nest, where I blog about my love for glue guns and glitter. I suffer from craft ADHD, regularly working on at least 10 projects at the same time. My craft room tends to look like a tornado blew through it. I live in the Arizona desert with my husband (aka Mr. Crafty Nest), our son Logan and our 2 cats. I’d love for you to stop by my blog! A huge thanks to Kelsey for having me over at her lovely blog. Just so you know, my craft room is rarely if ever this clean. I’m attempting to be more organized in 2012, so we’ll see how long that lasts. Before we moved into our home, my husband and I lived in a little apartment and our dining room table became my crafting space. After not being able to eat at a table for a couple years, we were excited to finally have a designated space for my glitter and glue guns. We turned one of our spare bedrooms into my craft room, well half my craft room and half my husband’s office. Craft Studio 3 I fell in love with Pottery Barn’s white desks and matching furniture, but not so much the price tag. I found similiar furniture at Ikea at a fraction of the cost and you can barely tell the difference. Aside from the furniture, I just love how personal and inviting the room feels to me. I placed one of my favorite quotes above the closet doors in the room, a nice reminder to make every moment count. Craft Studio 2 In an attempt to keep organized, I store my little craft supplies (beads, straight pins, etc.) in tiny little jars (found at Ikea). I store my larger items in baskets that line my bookshelf. Thanks to pinterest, I now store my ribbon on a pant hanger in my closet. I recently put rolling drawers in the closet and filled them with my fabric/felt stash.
