My husband loves LOVES LOVES Nutella. I must admit that before I met him, I didn’t know what it was. I had never seen it, heard of it, or tried it. One lick and I was hooked! My husband loves it so much that he can slather it on a hot dog but and inhale it. One thing he loves just as much – Ferrero Rocher chocolates. It is a known fact that they are one of his favorites. For Christmas his family and mine load his stocking with Ferrero Rocher. So, for his birthday I knew just what I was going to bake him – a Nutella and Ferrero Rocher cupcake which I saw on Pinterest. There was only one problem with the pin – I couldn’t track down the recipe! I improvised and made it up! What you need:
- Chocolate cake mix (and ingredients from the recipe on the box)
- Nutella
- Ferrero Rocher chocolates
First bake the cupcakes according to the directions on the box. Then let them cool… resist the urge to scarf one down! Once they are cool, use a spoon to scoop out a small bit of cake from the center. You can throw it out – or eat it! I’m sure you know what I did with it? Who lets perfectly good cake go to waste? Once you scoop it out, fill the hollowed out area with a whopping heap of Nutella! Don’t skimp my friends! Then top it off with a Ferrero Roche chocolate! Now don’t these look divine? Salivating yet? Want a taste? Bikini season is over! Get yourself some of these chocolate goodness! Enjoy,
