If you didn’t know – I won a ticket to SNAP! in November. I am so thrilled to be going. One thing I wanted to do was to make business cards to hand out. There are going to be 300 attendees, and I know that I personally won’t be able to remember everyone attending and their respective blogs and shops. Though, I know I will WANT to remember them, so why not give a little reminder? I ordered my business cards from VistaPrint. The thing I love about them is that you can download a photoshop template and design the cards yourself. Of course you know that is what I did!! If you are in need of business cards watch their site, because they always have some sort of deal going on! DSC_0267 Here they are in all of their glory! However – I wanted them to have an extra special touch. I want my business cards to make an impression of me and my shop. I thought long and hard about how I would do this… and here is what I did… bus_cards I added twine! What says ME more than twine?? Nothing! I’m addicted to the look of twine and it gives my business cards that extra ‘something’ that I was looking for! DSC_0188 The other great thing is that over the weekend I was in the mood to sew. Usually I leave sewing to the pros because I find it stressful and frustrating. I like projects that are quick and easy. To me sewing does not equal quick OR easy. I must say I am super proud of myself though – I managed to make something that I love and am proud of. I have been eyeing a tutorial I found on Pinterest by Just Another Hang Up. I love your business card idea. I think most people who have business cards need to put their "stamp" on their cards and sonething like this is brilliant. I know I will put my "stamp"on mine.
    Thanks
