Christmas Kraft Mobile–Use a Tomato Cage

I’m a sucker for Pottery Barn. I wish I could live in a Pottery Barn catalog. I would sure be in dreamland and so would my boys! I can’t afford most items from Pottery Barn though – bottom line. Until I can, I reinvent my own version (and maybe I like them even better too!) mobile So the mobile I am sharing today was inspired by one I saw on Pottery Barn’s website! Pottery Barn mobile is below. Super lovely! image Here is how I made mine- mobile12 Gather your supplies-

  • Tomato Cage
  • Wire Snips
  • Jute
  • Scallop Punch
  • Kraft Paper
  • Bakers Twine
  • Glue gun

First I cut the top circle from a tomato cage and used it as the base of my mobile. Then I used jute to tie across the circle form. After that I cut three different sizes of bakers twine. I used hot glue to sandwich bakers twine between two kraft scallops. Then when I was done with that I tied the bakers twine to the jute. The longest pieces in the middle and shortest pieces on the outside. mobile10 mobile11 mobile9 mobile8 mobile3 mobile5 mobile4 mobile2 Enjoy, image I’m linking up here… Momma Hens Coop lollipops
