At the beginning of the summer my husband’s aunt gave us a fast pop maker. Up until then I had never heard of one. All I knew was the old fashioned way of freezing stuff for hours or over night, but the thing is awesome! You make your popsicle mix, pour it in and wait ten minutes! The only bad part is that it only makes two popsicles at a time and the second batch doesn’t always freeze all the way through. Since I have two popsicle eaters that means I usually get one from the second batch. Anyways, as soon as we got it I wanted to make a popsicle for the boys. I went to the pantry to see what I could come up with and found a few Kool-Aid packets. It took a little trial and error but I came up with the perfect mix of water and sugar to make a yummy popsicle. For the ice pop mix you will need one Kool-Aid packet, 1 quart of water and 3/4 cup of sugar. Mix it all together and pour it into your molds. Freeze and wah-la! If you don’t have a fast pop maker or popsicle molds you can always use an ice tray or plastic cups and stick them in the freezer. We have been making these all summer long and the boys love them. I prefer to give them them the peach mango or lemonade flavored ones because the colors don’t stain their clothes, bodies or mouths when we are planning to go somewhere.

What is the orange drink you are pouring into the maker? Does it take the place of the water? Thanks

The liquid that it shows, seems to be the peach-mango kool aid mixed with water.

Thank you for posting this! It took me a while to find a post of someone who realized the popsicle are way better if the mixture is a little rich. Everyone else just said "pour Kool-Aid in a container and freeze it".
