Mockups!

Mockups are the way I have been running my business for almost a decade. Even before they were so easy to make, I was taking pictures of blank onesies and adding designs via Photoshop. Dang, we have come a long way since then!

How I Use Mockups for My Business

I am currently using mockups to create shirt listings for my ETSY shop and also to create images of my cut files here on the blog. With the use of mockups I don’t have to physically make the shirt or waste materials. There is nothing worse than making a shirt that doesn’t sell.

I also use mockups for invitations, magnets, stickers and other products I sell online. I’m sure you are familiar with mockups because whether you know it or not, they are everywhere!

Why You Should Use Mockup Images for Your Business

Using mockup images can be incredibly beneficial for small businesses. Mockups allow you to showcase your products or services in a visually appealing way, without the need for expensive photography equipment,a professional photographer, or supplies. They can also help you to see what your product would look, giving you a better idea of how it will be received by your audience.

Additionally, mockup images can be easily customized to fit your brand’s style and aesthetic, making them an excellent tool for marketing and advertising. Overall, using mockup images can save you time and money while still creating high-quality visuals for your small business.

Create Mockups in Canvas

Have you heard of Canva? I use it every day and it is a game changer. It is much cheaper than Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop which can run $55 per month for a membership. The pro plan of Canva is $15 per month, but you don’t have to have the pro plan for mockups!
