Thanksgiving will be here before we know it and I always get stuck trying to figure out the Thanksgiving side dishes I want to make. I guess my real problem is trying to narrow down the ones that look delicious to the ones I am actually going to make. I like to keep some dishes the same but then I like to add a few new ones too. Traditionally we always have turkey, gravy, rolls, mashed potatoes and sweet potato casserole but then we add in a few other side dishes. Thanksgiving is my favorite food day by far. I put on my elastic pants and oversized shirt and go back for seconds and sometimes thirds! Then to top it off we eat Thanksgiving early and have leftovers for dinner. Most years we have two Thanksgiving celebrations – one at my parents and one at my in-laws.
