It seems like lately every time I turn around another person I know or one of my friends is announcing they are pregnant. There is nothing more exciting than the anticipation of a new little bundle. As Emmett’s first birthday draws near I am already missing the newborn stages. He is pulling himself up, sitting, crawling and starting to get into anything he can. The other day one of my friends asked what the new mom must-haves were and of course I always tell people that the Boppy® pillow is my #1 must-have. I used a Boppy® pillow with every single one of my kids. Emmett is ten months old and we still use it on a daily basis during play time and feedings. When I heard the Boppy® company was introducing a diaper bag I was so excited! Last week Mike and I loaded up all four of the kids and headed to Daytona Beach to shop for new clothes for the kids. With summer weather here Wyatt and Mason have outgrown nearly all of their shorts from last year and they both needed some new socks, undies and shirts. Throughout the trip I had moments where I didn’t know if I should laugh or cry. I felt like I was at a circus with Delilah crying, Emmett happy then Emmett crying, Delilah trying to run off, Mike helping the boys, the boys disliking things we were picking out for them and then we were disagreeing with some of the things they were picking out for themselves. My head was literally spinning. We had planned to go out to eat before heading home but by the end of the trip we agreed we should just order pizza in. Please tell me we are not the only parents that sometimes decide there are times the public can’t handle our kids and we can’t handle one more second IN public WITH THEM. I love them all to death but the other day was one of those times we just couldn’t get home fast enough. See the picture above? What you can’t see in this picture is that Mike was loading up our three youngest kids while I had Wyatt taking pictures for me. Despite the craziness I did feel pretty put together outfit wise. I had a comfortable maxi skirt on and had packed up our Boppy™ Diaper Bag for the first time. For the past few months I have been using a tote bag as a diaper bag and it didn’t have any pockets so everything was just thrown in and unorganized. When I saw all of the pockets and coordinating extras my new Boppy™ Diaper Bag had it felt like Christmas came early. I packed diapers, wipes, a pacifier and sippy cups for both Emmett and Delilah in the bag and STILL had loads of room and empty pockets. Not only have I loved using the diaper bag on a daily basis since our trip but I can’t wait to use it during our upcoming Disney World trip. The Boppy™ Diaper Bag comes with coordinating Boppy™ Bottle Bags and Boppy™ Changing Pad Clutches. The bottle bags are designed to hold multiple bottles. The changing pad clutches have extra padding for baby, fold into a cute carry clutch and are full of extra pockets so you can carry everything baby needs… and even a few things I need. Since I am still nursing Emmett the very best part about the diaper bag is the clip where I can clip our Boppy® Pillow right onto the bag. Stopping to nurse Emmett with our Boppy® Pillow is going to be a breeze. I can pack up the diaper bag, clip on the pillow and tuck everything right into the bottom carriage of our stroller. Let’s not forget changing diapers at Disney – with the changing pad I can feel better about using the public baby changing areas. There is extra room for a change of clothes and snacks. Can you tell I have taken babies to Disney World before? I have learned from my Disney trip mistakes – that’s for sure. Now when my friends ask what the top mom must-haves are my answer will be the Boppy® Pillow AND the Boppy™ Diaper Bag because they go together like two peas in a pod. Not only are they functional – they are fashionable too. My entire outfit is from where else? TARGET! The Boppy™ Diaper Bags can be purchased on Amazon, BuyBuyBaby or BabiesRUs and they have lots of cute designs.
