My friend Jessica got married at the beginning of the month and a few weeks ago I showed you the His and Her glasses that I made as part of her wedding present. This is another part of their gift – a personalized book which is really a box and I hope they will use it to store small trinkets and photos. I found the book/box at TJMaxx and knew it was coming home with me so I could personalize it with vinyl. After thinking about it I put some black vinyl in my silhouette and went to town. I am in love with the end result. I decided if I find another plain one there I am making one for myself!
To do the personalization I cut the vinyl letters out in my silhouette and used vinyl transfer paper to apply it to the book. The vinyl I used was not the normal brand I use and it was hard to apply, but in the end it all turned out okay!
