One Dress Four Ways–Affordable Fashion

      I am a mom. I don’t get to go shopping very often and if I do my budget is limited. When I DO get to go shopping for myself I try to pick things that are versatile. I look for staple pieces that can be dressed up or down. A few weeks ago I had the chance to shop the Kardashian line at Sears. As a reality show junkie I admit I watch the show if it is on after my kids are in bed. Out of Khloe, Kim, and Kourtney I like Kourtney’s sense of style the most. She is always dressed in something comfortable yet professional looking and out of the three sisters she is always dressed the most conservative. Today I am showing you how I took a dress purchased from the Kardashian line and how I plan to pair it with items I already have to wear it four different ways. The dress itself is a dark gray with black trim and cap sleeves. I was super lucky because the Kardashian line was marked down to 40% off or more while I was shopping so it cost me $30. I bought it for a family reunion we have in Georgia this weekend. I needed it to be casual and made from a light fabric since it has been really hot. Since I had a baby seven months ago I have a bit of a pouch that I was also looking to hide.This dress has a detail that draws your eye away from the pouch and once I tried it on I knew it was the one. Look #1 is the most casual. I just paired the dress with casual wedge flip flops and put a headband on to keep my hair off of my face. This is how I plan to wear the dress to our family reunion this weekend. Simple enough! For look #2 I have on a pair of flats and a scarf. This dresses up the outfit and I can see myself wearing this to an interview, church, or even out to lunch. Look #3 is my favorite! I added a pop of color by putting on a chunky aqua necklace and a see through aqua shirt. This is my favorite look of the four and screams SUMMER. I would wear this on a date night with my husband and since both of our birthdays are next month I know I will be pairing it all up again soon! Look #4 is the most dressed up of the four outfits. I traded the see through shirt for a black blazer and a skinny leopard belt. If you work in an office you could start out with this look and take the blazer off to go straight from work to a party or out for a few Friday night cocktails with the girls.
