With a baby on the way I have been trying to stay on a strict budget, so when it came to Fall decorating this year I purchased a few new things from the dollar store, made some décor with supplies I had on hand, and used items from past years. The great thing is that in a few weeks I can add in some spooky Halloween items and then remove them afterwards to have décor that will last me through Thanksgiving. 
I made the ‘Sapp Farm Hayrides’ sign out of a piece of pallet board I had in the garage and some orange acrylic paint using the same tutorial that I shared HERE. This project was free since I had all of the supplies on hand. The Falling Leaf Wreath was from last year and I shared that tutorial HERE. 
The ceramic pumpkins were both from the Dollar Tree and were $1 each. At first I thought I would spray paint them, but then I decided they looked just fine the way they were. The leaves in the picture below were also $1 for a pack of 10 at the Dollar Tree. 
Everything on the entertainment dresser was found by shopping my house or was from past years. I shared the chalk paint recipe that I used on the apple bucket HERE, and I will be sharing the tutorial for the pumpkin burlap canvas next week.

Oh my, that is a cute idea! I have done some DIY projects before with my children. You could see them in my home at apartments in Downtown Denver.
