Is this possible?
I’m a decent cook (I think I’m pretty good),
but when it comes to breakfast I’m not that great. I’m horrible at fried eggs,
the pancakes always seem to get too dark
and I think it is because I am just to lazy in the mornings to care. My husband on the other hand is a mean breakfast making machine.
He makes the best scrambled eggs,
and I love him a little bit more every time he makes breakfast! The real facts are that we get two days off together every month.
The days he isn’t working – I am
because that is what pays the bills.
That doesn’t leave a lot of time for making or eating breakfast together.
Especially considering that when WE DO get a day off together we usually have plans-
like running errands, family commitments, dinner here, or friends invited us there. This weekend it just so happens we had TWO days IN A ROW off together.
So today I made my favorite breakfast. Yes, I made it! BREAKFAST BURRITOS! Many of you may have heard of these before,
but I know a few of you have no ideas what I’m talking about.
I’ll let you in on a breakfast secret and how easy it is to make.
It is the perfect breakfast for the day after you served tacos for dinner! IMG_6959 You will need:

  • Milk
  • Dozen Eggs
  • Shredded Cheddar
  • Flour Tortillas
  • Sausage
  • Toppings – sour cream, salsa, guacamole, tomatoes (you pick!)

First fry up the sausage. IMG_6966 Then when it is cooked – place it in a bowl lined with paper towel. IMG_6967 Meanwhile crack 12 eggs into a bowl and add a few tablespoons of milk. Then scramble! IMG_6964 Use the same pan that you fried the sausage in to scramble the eggs. This will give your eggs even more flavor! IMG_6970 Once the eggs are done add the sausage until warm. IMG_6971 Pop your tortilla shells in the microwave for 10 seconds and SERVE! It is just that easy guys and gals! Here is how Mike likes his… sour cream first… IMG_6972 Eggs IMG_6973 Cheese IMG_6974 I personally like mine with guacamole if we have it on hand. IMG_6981 The true breakfast of champions! Breakfast burritos folks! IMG_6985 Enjoy, image
