Apple Pie Roll-Up dessert recipe.
When I think of fall I think of trips to the apple orchard, piles of leaves and big chunky sweaters. I dream of apple scented candles and apple cider donuts. Each new season brings excitement, recipes and memories I plan to make with my family but fall recipes always seems to be the most exciting.
In fall things slow down, cool down and we start to snuggle indoors watching movies and eating hearty meals with desserts and snacks. Basically we all pack on some extra pounds to keep us warm through a cold winter… in Florida. Ha.
Since my family is from Illinois and we all live in Florida now we always reminisce about trips to the apple orchard this time of year. Our friends and family back home start posting pictures of their visits to the orchards and then I get inspired to make apple everything! This year is no different. Since the kids and I are living with my parents right now (if you missed it my husband is away on a job training) we have all been able to enjoy the flavors of fall together.
In the past week I have made mini pies, easy apple roll-up desserts and I tossed together an apple pie trail mix that my boys have been asking to take as a snack in their lunch boxes. After all apple is the winning flavor!
