Back to School Crayon Banner – Cutting Cardstock with Cricut Joy

Hey there to all the adults sending kids back to school after summer break. I see you! Our kids head back on the 16th and we’ve FINALLY finished the back to school shopping, stocked the pantry with lunch food and checked off ‘back to school haircuts.’ We are in the homestretch which leaves a little time for crafting.

I made vinyl labels for each kid’s notebooks and made a crayon banner for their First Day of School pictures. To make the banner I cut cardstock using my Cricut Joy and the free Layered Crayon cut file .

My 8 year old Delilah daughter helped me put these together and I am so proud of how well she is doing creating and cutting on the Cricut Joy.

Now excuse me while I go tidy up our front porch before we take pictures on Monday. I’m thinking a fresh coat of paint and a new rug. Extra? Probably!

What files are included in the download?

Each download includes one zip folder with a DXF, PNG and SVG of the cut file design. 

• DXF files can be opened in Silhouette Studio and cut with a Silhouette Cameo.
• SVG files can be opened in Cricut Design Space and cut with a Cricut machine or a CNC machine.
• PNG files can be used with either software using the trace feature if you are having issues with the DXF or SVG files.
