Bloody Vampire Kid Cocktail

Halloween! My husband’s very favorite holiday to celebrate is Halloween and it is my second favorite after Christmas. We love everything about it from the decorations to the costumes and fun frightful foods. We try to make it a point to visit all of the local Halloween events and enjoy simple nights at home watching classic Halloween movies (Hocus Pocus of course) with fun snacks. As the boys get older we can start doing things that are a bit more frightening and they had so much fun drinking their first Bloody Vampire Cocktail and watching Monster House last weekend. Bloody Vampire Kid Cocktail These bloody vampire kid cocktails are so simple to make. They are perfect for a Halloween party and with a few tweaks you could serve them as grown up cocktails too! I picked up the vampire teeth at Target for $1 but if you don’t have a Target in your area the dollar store usually carries them this time of year too. The teeth were a big hit with the boys because even after the drink was gone they were playing with them. Bloody Vampire Kid Cocktail - Halloween Drink

Bloody Vampire Kid Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients

  • Grenadine
  • Red food coloring, liquid not gel
  • Clear lemon-lime soda

Instructions

  1. Pour lemon-lime soda into a pitcher and add 4-5 drops of red food coloring. Stir and add more if needed until it is bright red.
  2. In the bottom of a glass add 1 tablespoon of grenadine and then fill with red soda.
  3. Garnish glass with vampire teeth.

Notes

**I used mini mason jar glasses and the teeth fit perfectly inside the cup, but you could always freeze them in an ice cube mold and float the vampire teeth ice in the drink.
