Personalized Baby Wipes Clutch

I am a sucker for anything personalized. With each of my babies I have bought or made items with their names on it and whenever I am invited to a baby shower I usually sew up a few burp clothes and gift them with a personalized onesie and wipes case. One of my friends gifted me a Huggies Clutch ‘n’ Clean for our new little guy and I absolutely love it! In fact I loved it so much I bought one in all three prints for stylish baby wipes on the go. Today I am showing you how easy it is to personalize the refillable wipes clutch so you can have a Huggies clutch within arms reach for your babe or to give as a gift (did I mention these are great for daycare kids!?).

Personalized Baby Wipes Clutch

If you have followed my blog since before I had my daughter a year and a half ago then you know we are a Huggies family – we have tried other brands of wipes and diapers but nothing compares to the leak protection and quality of their products. When it comes to diaper messes I’m not willing to deal with anything but the best!

Both Delilah and Emmett are in diapers right now so we have to keep our changing table stocked and ready at all times! {{I am keeping my fingers crossed we can tackle potty training Delilah by the end of the summer!}} Either way having a wipes clutch within arms reach has become the norm.

Huggies Diapers and Clean 'n' Clutch

To make your own Personalized Diaper Clutch you will need the following supplies:

**If you don’t have a vinyl cutting machine you can find vinyl letters at most office supply stores or near the mailbox section of most home improvement stores – you will just have limited color options.
Directions:

  1. Start with a clean, dry Huggies clutch.
  2. Use a vinyl cutter to cut the name you would like to add to the clutch. Cut around the entire name and peel the excess vinyl leaving the name on the sheet (as shown in the first picture below).
  3. Use a piece of vinyl transfer paper to transfer the name from the sheet to the wipes case and carefully peel to reveal a personalized wipes clutch!

I especially love the fact that these clutches can be easily wiped off if there is a mess. They are great when you are on the go and with the snap on the clutch you can hang them in your car or attach them to your diaper bag. With four kids to chase around we use wipes for more than booties!! We use them to clean off faces and hands too so having the clutch is a lot easier and cuter than toting around a big tub of wipes.

See what I mean about snapping them onto your diaper bag? With all the things I have to remember to pack in our diaper bag I won’t be forgetting the wipes anymore. This striped clutch is strictly for our diaper bag and since I have it looped and snapped through the grommet of the bag it won’t be going anywhere!

Sorry, my comment may not make you smile. Every time I see stuff like this, it reminds me of how insular Americans are. There are a WORLD of problems and issues out there, and we should spend time putting a name on a diaper wipe package? Clearly, the child will never know of this. You are doing it for yourself, no? How about leave the diaper wipe thing just as it is and redirect your energies toward making the world that your child will inhabit a better place? For example, if you took this time to lobby your neighborhood representative for a new/better/cleaner/safer park, your child would get more out of the time. Or better yet, just READ to child or play imagination games or learn about other less rich cultures. This seems to me like fiddling while Rome burns. The US is going to hell in a handbasket--haven't we something better to do than fulfill sweet little fantasies rather than see the challenges that will face your child?

Again, it's nice, but is it really a good use of time?

I love this! What a cute idea to add the vinyl name. I love our Clutch 'n' Clean packages, they're so fun.
