I’m sharing a list of fruits and vegetables in season during the month of February. As you make your grocery lists this month remember that by shopping the in season produce you can often get it at the best prices (not to mention this is when it tastes the best). My family is excited about in-season asparagus, sweet potatoes and clementine but there are a lot of other good ones on the list this month too! Fruits in season during February:
- Avocados
- Clementines
- Grapefruit
- Kiwi
- Lemons
- Limes
- Oranges
- Pears
- Tangelos
- Tangerines
Vegetables in season during February:
- Asparagus
- Bok Choy
- Broccoli
- Brussels Sprouts
- Cabbage
- Cauliflower
- Carrots
- Celery
- Kale
- Lettuce
- Leeks
- Onions
- Parsnips
- Rhubarb
- Shallots
- Sweet Potatoes
- Turnips
I gave our little Delilah a clementine for the first time and to say she liked it would be an under exaggeration – she ate every bit of fruit from the rind and cried for more! Here in Florida a lot of the orange groves allow the public to come and pick so I think a trip is in order!Enjoy,

You are welcome Torie! I think it is so helpful too!! I have been working on remembering when things are in season and how to tell if things are ripe (I am horrible when it comes to melons!)
