Today I have Vanessa from See Vanessa Craft with classic chocolate chip cookies – these look so gooey and yummy. You should probably make them today! Enjoy!
You can’t go wrong with a classic chocolate chip cookie for your holiday baking. Sugar cookies are fun to make, but does anyone actually eat them? These chocolate chip cookies are sure to be devoured! I’ve been experimenting with recipes and I think I’ve finally found the perfect chocolate chip recipe. They’re not too chewy and not too crispy, they’re just right. If you are a chocolate lover, feel free to add an extra 1/2 cup of chocolate chips. Make up a batch for the neighbors or your co-works. Actually, you may want to make an extra batch for yourself because they are that good!
Ingredients
(makes 30 cookies)
2 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup butter (room temperature)
1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
1/4 granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir the dry ingredients together (flour, cornstarch, baking soda, salt, brown sugar, sugar). Mix the wet ingredients together (butter, eggs, vanilla extract). Combine dry and wet ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips. Roll into 30 balls and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes until cookies are golden brown. Enjoy!
