I’m a sucker for Pottery Barn. I wish I could live in a Pottery Barn catalog. I would sure be in dreamland and so would my boys! I can’t afford most items from Pottery Barn though – bottom line. Until I can, I reinvent my own version (and maybe I like them even better too!) So the mobile I am sharing today was inspired by one I saw on Pottery Barn’s website! Pottery Barn mobile is below. Super lovely! Here is how I made mine- Gather your supplies-
- Tomato Cage
- Wire Snips
- Jute
- Scallop Punch
- Kraft Paper
- Bakers Twine
- Glue gun
First I cut the top circle from a tomato cage and used it as the base of my mobile. Then I used jute to tie across the circle form. After that I cut three different sizes of bakers twine. I used hot glue to sandwich bakers twine between two kraft scallops. Then when I was done with that I tied the bakers twine to the jute. The longest pieces in the middle and shortest pieces on the outside. Enjoy, I’m linking up here…
