Perfect Garlic Bread

  • 1 loaf French Bread
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 4-6 tbsp butter cubed
  • dried parsley optional


  1. Cut the loaf lengthwise almost all the way through and open up like a bun.
  2. Add garlic and butter in a small microwave safe dish. Microwave for 15-20 second intervals until butter is softened but not melted all the way. Stir.
  3. Use a knife to spread the butter garlic mixture all over the opened loaf of bread.

  4. Place the open loaf under the broiler for 3-4 minutes. Check and remove the loaf or cook for one more minute until mostly golden brown. You may need to adjust cook times based on your ovens temperature.

  5. Sprinkle with dried parsley, fold and cut into slices.
