Back to School Themed Cut Files – For Silhouette and Cricut Machines – Vector Files

This post contains affiliate links. These links don’t change the cost of the product however we do receive a small percentage which we use to keep the blog running and buzzing with new content.

Hey friends! I’m back with another set of free cut files today. This time around I have school themed cut files ready for you to use with your Silhouette Cameo or Cricut machines. Has anyone purchased the Cricut Maker yet!? It came out August 20th and I am obsessing over purchasing one. We are in the middle of moving and buying our first home, so I keep telling myself I have to wait until money isn’t so tight. Oh the choices we must make while adulting!

My kids actually went back to school a few weeks ago but I know friends that aren’t starting for another week or so. I have a friend sending her daughter off to preschool today and these cut files were inspired by a shirt I made for her. Not to mention, these cut files can be used throughout the year for teacher gifts and teacher appreciation week.

Here are some FAQs about the free files…

Can I use them for Commercial Use?
You can use these designs for personal OR commercial use. If you use them please, please tag me on social media because I would love to see your final products and share them with my followers too! You MAY NOT sell, alter or claim these designs as your own in any way.

What files types do these come in?
These files come in DXF and SVG. The files are below and I have them labeled. I use DXF for Silhouette and it opens right up but I know Cricut users need SVG. These will not automatically load into your library. Save them to a folder, open your software and then File>Open from the file you saved the files to.

What can I make with these cut files?
You can cut these files onto any medium you prefer and make SO MANY THINGS! Make mugs, cups, shirts, onesies, tote bags or basically whatever your heart desires. I recently shared where to buy blanks if you need some ideas.

Cut File Project Inspiration-

Here is an idea on how to use the cut files from the school theme pack along with some fonts to create a back to school shirt. This is the design I put together for my friend’s daughter.

The fonts I used were –

Michael (used for little and cutie)

Bebas Neue (used for MISS)

Love Letters (used for Natalie)

Grab the Free School Themed Cut Files –

They will download as a .ZIP folder. Once you unzip the folder you will have access to the .DXF or .SVG file depending on the machine you are using.

Kelsey,

I really wanted to see the teacher survey, but when I clicked on it all I got was the bridal shower things instead. I tried it a few times with the same result.
