Sautéed Garlic Green Beans–Garden Style

As you may know – I am growing a garden. Last week I was able to pick my first batch of green beans. My husband is a big fan of sautéed green beans so I whipped this up especially for him.

If you don’t have a garden or didn’t plant green beans this year, just pick some up at your local farmers market or grocery store! From now on it looks like I will be stopping by the farmer’s market because a few nights ago the gosh darn bunnies ate mine down to the ground!

You will need the following Ingredients:

  • Green Beans
  • Olive Oil – 3 TBSP
  • Garlic Salt
  • Pepper
  • Pearl Onions

To Prepare:

  • Heat your olive oil in a large pan and then add your pearl onions. Cook the onions until they are translucent and tender.
  • Cut the ends off of your green beans and then add them to the pan. Season with pepper and garlic salt to taste. I tend to REALLY coat them in garlic salt because we LOVE garlic in these parts!
  • Cook until everything is a golden brown. Sometimes I even remove the green beans and continue to cook the onions until they are crispy and golden on the outside layer.
  • Serve!
